You’ve probably heard the term, “follow the money” or have heard talk about a candidates “war chest”. Money, no doubt, has a prominent role in campaigns, politics, and our government. In fact it seems that money is the only thing that matters anymore. Should money be the motivating factor behind everything that happens in our government? A Zero Dollar Candidate doesn’t think so. The only thing that should influence our government and our elected officials is the best interest of Americans. A Zero Dollar Candidate doesn’t care about the best interest of a political party, a corporation, a union, or even the next election. A Zero Dollar Candidate won’t be lobbied by anyone but the American people themselves.

We don’t need the government to make a law for us to do the right thing, we’re going to do it on our own. We will remove the money (and everything else negative about politics and politicians) and put Americans back in control. Starting with our campaign and continuing in the government.

This is what you can expect from A Zero Dollar Candidate...

>We will not accept money from corporations, individuals, unions, special interest groups, lobbyists, etc. and use almost zero personal money.

>We will not accept favors from corporations, unions, special interest groups, lobbyists, etc.

>We will not accept favors from individuals who expect something in return.

>We will refuse to be part of a political party or any other organization that expects us to put our duty to fellow Americans behind that of the organization.

>We will never allow access to us by corporations, unions, special interest groups, lobbyists, etc.

>We will allow access to us by fellow Americans on a regular, frequent basis.

>We will never make a promise we don’t fully expect to keep.

>We will never propose or support earmarks of any form.

>We will obey the law and the will of fellow Americans instead of finding ways to skirt around the law and the will of fellow Americans.

>Once elected, we will not campaign for the next election. We will not spend the tax payers time raising money for the next election. Our record will stand on it’s own and the people will vote based on tangible results rather than inflammatory TV and radio ads.

A Zero Dollar Candidate believes:

Money Controls Government instead of We The People.

Personal Responsibility and Accountability has disappeared over the years and we need to bring it back.

Social Responsibility belongs to everyone, not just businesses and the government.

Technology needs to be used to it’s fullest extent in our government.

Zero Waste in our government must become a reality.

The Law must be obeyed by everyone.
